Globally Engaged Experiential Learning begins with careful consideration of the motivations for - and ethical implications of - working with communities on issues of social justice, inequality and sustainable development.

For those interested in learning/Volunteer/Internships/Working abroad, go to the learn/volunteer abroad modules (in English or in French).

Globally engaged experiential learning can also take place "at home" as a form of volunteerism or service learning designed to facilitate learning, skills development and community social justice. Included here are a list of readings, resource materials and activities. (resources are forthcoming).

Students taking part in co-operative education (co-op) at the University of Ottawa will find resources here on how to prepare work-term reports and other useful information. See above links (more... co-operative education)
